Celebrating Our Local Finalists at the BBC Essex Make a Difference Awards Friday, 11 September, 2026 Last week, Rebecca helped celebrate the Borough's local finalists who were entered into this year's BBC Essex Make a Difference Awards. Among them were, Jack Broomfield from Canvey Island, recognised as a finalist for the Volunteer Award, and Emma Powell from Benfleet, as a finalist for the Environmental Award.
