In recent weeks many of you have contacted me with your concerns regarding crime in the Borough. Like you I am deeply concerned by the apparent rise in crime in Castle Point. This is why I decided to enrol myself on the Police Service Parliamentary Scheme. This has given me an amazing first hand insight into the day to day operations of our amazing police force in Essex.
So far I have spent a day with CID officers, I have visited the police forensic labs, and I spent time with the Casualty Reduction Unit.
