Rebecca Harris MP for Castle Point visited the stand for Arthritis at the Conservative Party Conference to show support for their cause.
Arthritis UK is the leading arthritis charity, fighting to change lives through research, campaigning and support. They fund essential medical research and treatments, provide expert health information, advice and a helpline, and campaign on critical health and government issues affecting musculoskeletal care.
An estimated 10 million people in the UK live with various forms of arthritis. Every day around one thousand people are diagnosed with osteoarthritis, being the most common form of arthritis. Every month, over 2,000 people are diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Many more live with arthritis but go undiagnosed and so untreated.
Rebecca commented: “I am proud to support Arthritis UK in their mission to help everyone with Arthritis access the support they need and live the life they choose”.
There are many thing you can do to help Arthritis UK reach their goal. This includes, donating, organising a fundraising event, volunteering or campaigning, and leaving a gift in your will.
