Yesterday, Rebecca attended the Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet Parish Council.
She said it was a pleasure to attend and that she has been given a standing invitation to attend the meetings, which she will always do when her Parliamentary duties allow.
Rebecca spoke about her opposition to the proposal for 800 homes on undeveloped Green Belt next to the old A13 and Ilfracombe Avenue and said she would fully support the Parish Council in their concerns.
Rebecca vowed to stand with residents and do all she can to ensure their voices are heard when the formal planning application arrives.
