Today, Rebecca has provided an update on the services provided at the Hollies GP Surgery.
She said: "The local health authority were unfortunately unable to fully reopen the Hollies Surgery on Friday as planned due to unforeseen legal issues.
"My office and I have been in constant contact with the health authority throughout the day, and I am pleased that some services have now been restored this evening, including:
Telephone GP consultations for patients with existing bookings
Processing of prescription requests already received
Review of the backlog of patient queries, prioritised by clinical urgency
"This situation is completely unacceptable. My residents have endured more than enough disruption already and need to see a clinician as soon as possible.
"While as the local MP I have no direct authority over the NHS, I have made my expectations crystal clear. I am meeting the CEO of the local NHS Integrated Care Board tomorrow and will insist that Hollies patients must have access to the full range of medical services they would expect from their GP as soon as possible.
"I will provide more updates when they are available."
For the latest updates, patients should visit the Hollies Surgery website as the surgery’s Facebook page is not currently managed by existing staff. You can access the surgery website via this link: www.theholliesgpsurgery.co.uk
