This week, Rebecca met with young people from the Children's Parliament UK at an event in London.
The Children's Parliament is the first of its kind for younger children in the UK, allowing them to engage with democracy and public service.
It was established by the late Sir David Amess, who believed passionately in giving children a voice and encouraging them to get involved in their communities and our democracy from a young age.
Rebecca had the pleasure of meeting some of the enthusiastic young people who make up the Children's Parliament, including the Child MPs from Fairways School in Leigh on Sea, to hear their enthusiasm and ideas for the future.

After the event, Rebecca said: "It was great to see so many young people taking such an interest in democracy and public service.
"Thank you to everyone involved in organising such a thoughtful and inspiring evening."
