🎃 On Friday Rebecca stopped by the NeuroSisters' Halloween meeting at the Paddocks Community Centre on Canvey.
NeuroSisters is a group for neurodivergent women, or those living with children with neurodivergent conditions, to chat, share, rest, and recharge. The group provides a space for them to talk openly, share experiences and feel understood.
Rebecca met with the group and had some really interesting conversations, finding out how much the meetings are valued and about the support they offer.
The NeuroSisters meet every Friday, 12:00PM - 2:00PM at the Paddocks Community Centre, and hold online Teams meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, 7:00PM - 8:00PM.
If you or someone you know could benefit, contact Maria via email: [email protected], or pop along to one of their meetings.
After the meeting, Rebecca commented: "A huge thank you to Maria and the other NeuroSisters for the difference they are making. It was a pleasure to meet you all and find out more about the group!
"It is important that spaces like this exist to allow women to feel heard and learn from one another's experiences. I am very pleased that the group is up and running to support women in our community."
