Cherished Moments CIC Dementia Cafe on Canvey Island

Cherished Moments CIC has set up a monthly Dementia Cafe that provides a warm and welcoming space for people living with dementia and their carers. 

The cafe is staffed by a great bunch of local volunteers and you can find out more about other support available while you are there too.

Along with the Mayor of Canvey, I joined them for their first Cafe last weekend and can vouch for the quality of the cakes and the live entertainment!

The Cafes take place every month at The War Memorial Hall on the High St, 2:00PM-4:00PM. The dates for the next Cafe sessions are:

  • 24th May
  • 7th June
  • 19th July
  • 16th August
  • 13th September
