🎉 Yesterday, it was a pleasure to attend the official opening of the new 3G artificial grass sports pitch at The Deanes School Sports Centre. 

🏐 🏑 The South Essex Academy Trust that runs the Deanes academy installed the pitch with the help of Essex County FA and the Football Foundation. I got the chance to speak to those who delivered the project and hear how it will complement the other excellent sporting facilities at the school.

🎾 ⚽️ It was great to see local kids enjoying this great new facility and to watch a special training session on the new pitch given by Southend United Football Club youth team.
