Well done to all the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service crews and staff at Rayleigh Weir Fire Station for a fantastic Open Day today.

It was good to see so many families learning about the work of the fire services and other local blue light services like our excellent HM Coastguard.

The equipment displays were very interesting and to no-ones surprise opportunity to use a heavy duty fire hose was rather popular!
