Last week I visited Hadleigh Junior School to see and take part in a team sports session delivered by the excellent team at Southend United Football Club as part of the Fererro Joy of Movement Programme.

The coaches from the football club were excellent and it was great to see the students enjoying their coaching session in the sun. The session also included a talk in the classroom and from the conversations I had with the pupils they clearly enjoyed learning about the importance of fitness and healthy eating.

Thank you to Southend Football Club and Fererro and well done to all the pupils who took part. I definitely saw some future sports stars in the making!
