Today Rebecca visited the fantastic Carers Choices, the local charity based in Thundersley that supports carers and offers respite provision when they need a break.

One of the things they talked about was the new Carers Community Fund launched by Essex County Council and the Integration and Better Care Fund.

The fund can provide grants of between £1,000 and £30,000 for organisations and groups to set up local projects that support unpaid carers for friends and loved ones and is for projects for up to two years.

Rebecca commented: "I want as many charities and organisations that support carers across Castle Point to apply for these grants as possible."
