Rebecca got a tour of the new ‘Stuff on the Bus’ Community Supermarket which will be touring Canvey offering discounted grocery shopping to local residents on Tuesdays and Fridays.

You can follow The Salvation Army Canvey Island for details of times and routes.

The mobile community supermarket is a fantastic initiative set up with funding from Essex County Council. If you live on Canvey and see it parked up near you, make sure you come in for a browse!

They are also looking for volunteer drivers who would be interested in helping them provide for the community. Drivers are need on Tuesdays and or Fridays to drive the double decker bus. If you can help out, please email [email protected]

You can follow the bus on Instagram at ‘Stuffonthebuscanvey’.
