Rebecca met with the Essex Police - Castle Point District Borough Commander, Chief Inspector Paul Hogben, at the very busy Canvey Police Station on Long Road.

They had a good discussion about a range of issues including the Police’s recent successes with the boy racers and future plans to continue to tackle them.

They discussed Police concerns around closing Benfleet High Road and Essex Way for the annual Remembrance Service. Rebecca is  grateful to him for agreeing to work with Essex Highways and the local Essex County Councillor to find a solution.
