From December of this year thanks to a Government grant from the Department of Transport, Benfleet Station and all C2C stations will be installed with new Pay as you Go ‘Tap In, Tap Out’ bank card readers at ticket gates. This means you will not need to buy a ticket and will instantly get the best ticket price for your time of travel.

This is a great investment that should make travelling from the station a lot more convenient and should make ticket queues at Benfleet Station a thing of the past!
