Rebecca Harris, MP for Castle Point, visited her local TSB branch at Benfleet to hear how its Partners are supporting the local community.
During the visit, Rebecca met with TSB’s Area Director, Anne Butcher, before being given a tour of the branch and chatting at length with Partners, hearing first-hand about how TSB is supporting customers and local communities in Benfleet.
Anne explained to Rebecca how TSB is the bank that only serves local customers and local businesses, in order to fuel local economies, and so help create thriving local communities right across Britain. Anne also explained how TSB is supporting vulnerable customers and the work they are doing to educate customers around tackling fraud.
Rebecca Harris, Member of Parliament for Castle Point, commented:
“It was a pleasure to visit the TSB branch in Benfleet to see how TSB is bringing more competition to UK banking. I was particularly impressed to hear from the local Partners and how TSB are focussed on customer service and a values-led approach throughout the community – something which seems to have been lost in modern banking. I also salute their desire to visit local schools to offer free financial education!”
Anne Butcher, TSB Area Director for East London and Thames Estuary, commented:
“We want to better serve our customers – this is really important to the team here in Benfleet. We were delighted to meet with Rebecca Harris MP and explain how TSB is supporting our customers and our local community not only in Benfleet, but right across Britain.”
