Today is World Book Day and you may have noticed school children dressed up as their favourite book characters as they travel too and from school. There were a lot of excellent costumes this year!

Reading for fun is the so for biggest indicator that a child will grow up to enjoy a happier and more successful life, but only 1 in 3 primary school age children say they enjoy reading.

This year, as well as a £1 book token there are a number of retailers who have signed up to offer a number of kids story books for just £1 or a token.
