Last week, Rebecca popped into The Art Ministry in Hadleigh with a slightly unusual donation after having a bit of a clear-out: some artificial flowers which she was told would make useful subjects for still life drawing.
Rebecca has been a supporter of The Art Ministry for many years. She has described it as a fantastic local charity based at the Church Hall at 1 Church Road in Hadleigh, using art and craft to bring people together, build confidence and support mental health and wellbeing. Their sessions include groups for people with SEND, visual impairments and mental health needs, as well as sessions open to everyone.
There is something going on most days, including an open community art and craft session on Mondays from 11am to 1pm and Castle Point Art Club on Friday mornings from 10am to 12pm.
After visiting the Art Ministry, Rebecca said: "A huge thank you to all the brilliant volunteers who give their time to make it such a welcoming and supportive place.
"If you or someone you know might enjoy getting creative, meeting new people and having a chat, do have a look at what they offer."
