Rebecca visits the Carers and Cared for Dementia Group

Last month Rebecca visited the Carers and Cared For Dementia Group at the Residents’ Club at Kings Park on Canvey.

The group is open to anyone in Castle Point with dementia or their carers and partners and meets on the first Friday of every month between 10:00AM-12:00PM for coffee and cakes.

The group is supported by NHS Community Surgery, dementia nurses, the Alzheimers Society and other agencies.

It’s a great place to socialise and pick up information on care, benefits, carers allowance and lots of other support.
