On Sunday, Rebecca was made aware by local residents that there was a severe burst water main on Shipwrights Drive, preventing 36 homes from accessing water.

Immediately, Ms Harris contacted Essex and Suffolk water who sent an emergency technician out. Unfortunately, they had to close one lane, and set up temporary two-way lights whilst they worked on fixing the mains. 

Thankfully, the leak was fixed yesterday, and all residents have access restored. The hole was backfilled, and reinstatement works are due to be completed today.

Two-way lights and a lane closure will stay in place for the school run today.
