Happy World Book Day! Rebecca joined in the celebrations at Leigh Beck Junior School this week on Canvey Island. 

Rebecca commented: "A massive thank you to Leigh Beck Junior School for inviting me to join in your World Book Day celebrations last week and to speak in your assembly. I also got a tour of the fantastic facilities at the school and it was lovely to see how much pride the pupils take in their work."

Reading for pleasure is a vital indicator of a child's future success – more so than their family circumstances, educational background or income.

The book character costumes were excellent. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed costumes were very popular this year!
