Rebecca Harris MP attended the We-Rise Essex Skills Event at the Xtend Digital Campus on Meppel Avenue.

We Rise is a youth movement set up with the support of Essex County Council and other local partners on Canvey to help support young people between the ages of 16-24 into employment.

It was an excellent event, full of tips on how to perform well and stand out in job applications and interviews. Those taking part learnt how to build a personal brand on LinkedIn, stand out from the crowd with advice on how to build a top-notch CV & cover letter, became a pro at mastering an interview and learnt about key skills & strengths.

It was also great to hear about the growing range of mentors We Rise have in top paying and future industries.
