Rebecca Harris MP attends Hadleigh and Thundersley Community Archive event

Well done to the Hadleigh and Thundersley Community Archive for hosting their fantastic drop in event on Saturday at Hadleigh Library.

Rebecca commented: "It was fascinating to hear so many stories about our community’s past. I for one had no idea Thundersley used to have it’s own nudist colony!"

The archives have a number of books on sale about local history, including a recently released e-book filled with stories about the Hadleigh National School, that used to be based in the building where Sandcastles Nursery is now on the A13 coming into Hadleigh opposite the recreation ground.

Visit their website https://www.hadleighhistory.org.uk for information on their publications and how you can get involved in their work.
