This week, Rebecca welcomed the news that Hadleigh Country Park has once again been awarded the prestigious Green Flag Award, recognising it as one of the country’s best-managed parks and green spaces.
The international award confirms that the park boasts the highest possible environmental standards, is well maintained and has excellent visitor facilities.
As one of the largest green spaces in Essex, Hadleigh Country Park offers a superb outdoor space for residents to enjoy; Rebecca describes it as "one of Castle Point's gems".
Earlier this month, Rebecca attended the 30th anniversary celebration of the Green Flag Awards in Parliament with Keep Britain Tidy, where she said it was wonderful to hear that Hadleigh Country Park had earned the right to fly the Green Flag once again.
After the event, Rebecca commented: "If you’re looking for somewhere to visit with the family during the summer holidays, Hadleigh Country Park really is one of Castle Point’s gems. Congratulations to everyone whose hard work helps keep it looking so fantastic."
