Well done to the organisers, teachers and stall holders who set up the Robert Drake School Fete yesterday, particularly as most of it had to be moved indoors because of the weather .

It was absolutely packed and it was good to see so many out braving the rain to come for an afternoon of fun and fundraising at the school .

The stalls and games were excellent. The loo roll toss in particular was very popular !

Some local police also popped by to show the kids their car and equipment and let them turn on the blues and twos .

A particular well done to the brave parents who took part in the spicy hot wings eating contest ! Hopefully you have all recovered by now
