This weekend, Rebecca attended a preview of the Without Boundaries, contemporary mixed media art exhibition at Hadleigh Old Fire Station.

All exhibits were by local artists and had strong, evocative links to themes of memory, nature and the estuary. The featured works were presented in textile, 3D sculpture, collage with found objects, sound, video, light installation, works on paper, ceramics, mosaics and maps.

It was a great community event to demonstrate the talent of the local area, representing Castle Point's nature and ecosystem through different mediums of art.
