Rebecca Harris MP attended Canvey Community Choir’s first performance of 2022, and since the pandemic began, for the Mayor's Charity Concert. The Charity Concert was held at St Nicholas Church on 23 April and celebrated St George’s Day. The Concert was in aid of the Mayor of Castle Point Cllr Pat Haunt’s chosen charity – Canvey Island Transport Museum.

Rebecca Harris MP commented:

“Huge thanks and congratulations to Canvey Community Choir for their first - and excellent - performance since the start of the pandemic, at Castle Point Mayor Pat Haunts St George’s Day event at St Nicks Canvey CofE.

“I’m told the best part of a thousand pounds was raised for one of the Mayor’s chosen local charities Canvey Island Transport Museum. Well done everyone!”
