The Barclays local community banking service has moved to Canvey Library!

Opening days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Opening times: 9:30- 12:30 and 13:00-16:00

Customers will be able to access a range of in-person support such as help with digital banking, financial reviews, balance checks, transfers, bill payments amongst other services.

It is a cashless site, so everyday banking transactions will still need to be completed at the local Post Office.

Barclays is moving its service from St Nick’s Church on Long Road, where it has been since their branch on the Island closed last year. When the branch shut I lobbied their Head Office hard to provide a service for residents and businesses somewhere on Canvey. They said they would and I am pleased they are still honouring that commitment.
