Young People’s Q & A with Rebecca Harris MP

Castle Point MP Rebecca Harris met with the young people of Quality Foster Care for a Q&A at their offices in Benfleet High Road during half term.

Agency Social Work student Laura arranged the session to give the teenagers the opportunity to grill their local MP on important national issues like Brexit, school funding, and how local Government spends their resources in Castle Point. They also discussed the headlines in the news that week; such as Shamima Begum’s wish to return to the UK and immigration.

The young people really enjoyed speaking with Rebecca and the Q&A was followed by takeaway pizza courtesy of Dominos in Benfleet which went down a real treat with everyone!
