Last night Rebecca took part in election hustings organised by the Echo newspaper, at Hadleigh Old Fire Station. It was the first hustings of the campaign so far and it was great to see so many residents turn out to hear the candidates put their plans and policies to the public.

Rebecca said:

"It was especially encouraging to see so many young people at the event. I very much enjoyed the opportunity to lay out my record of fighting for our community and also put forward the Conservative Party’s vision for our country’s future. I would like to thank all the residents who attended the debate and I hope that those who attended found it an enlightening evening!

Well done to Emma Thomas for her expert chairing of the debate and I look forward to being on stage with my fellow candidates at the young people’s hustings at SEEVIC College on the 16th of April."
